This week we competed in a mathletics competition room's 4,2 and 6.WE WON!
The next most exciting part of mathletics is seeing what our prize is!
Monday 17 November
As i walk into the classroom i see two sky blue buckets and one green one it was almost as green as grass i wondered what they were for i saw a crowd, crowding around the buckets ' Mrs Reeves ' 'Mrs Reeves ' i could see she was getting grumpy alright class! we are going to dip our hands in ice. This is going to be interesting i say quietly to my self. My heart is pounding as i am ready to dip my hand into the water. Are you ready the teacher says 'yes' GO! as fast as lightning i dip my hand into the bucket. I hear the ice clashing like ice-bergs.other people are screaming and i'm not.

This week we sung we are done by the madden brothers.
I think this song is about stepping up for your self because in the song it goes done done done done done we are done.
for me it's telling me to not worry about my basic facts
my favourite line in the song is 'guns and chains' because it's saying , when you do stuff it all goes wrong

my favourite thing was calf club because i got 2 trophies and i did my jump jam.
the hardest thing was trying different flowers and greenery for my flower arrangement.
i am looking forward to my reading test because i want to see how i go in it.

The best thing this week was going to production practice because we set out all the props that had been done, and once we got out lines in our head we were better than the week before.we also put makeup on to see what we would look like on the real day of the production.
The hardest thing this week was doing our fishes and me trying to staple it together because I think I did the circle to small.
Something I am going to work on next week is my art because last time it was a bit tricky trying to get the die in one spot.

this week i really enjoyed doind maths in a different way because it was a different way and fun.
something i found hard this week was my maths because i am on a different level now so it was quite hard.
what i love most about our topic was going to life education because you learned more and it was really fun. friday 11 July
wow i am 9 now and next year i am going to be 10.today if you have noticed i am 9 years old.when i got up i said 'oh it is my birthday'i was partly excited and sort of not because i new what i was getting for my birthday but it was still exciting because i was getting a ipod 'yah'.my mum got up and said to me happy birthday and then my brother and then my dad unfortunately my dad was at work so he had to ring me.i opened up my presents and said THANK YOU SO MUCH!and then i said that into the phone to.i played on my ipod and played and played i went to bed when it was time to my sleepover is tomorrow and guess what it is my first sleepover ever.they arrived at about 4 o'clock in the afternoon,ollie was the first to arrive next Rylee then samantha i opened my presents and i got tons of presents.once we had dinner well we did have pizza for dinner and for dessert we had ice cream with chocolate and wafers.yum.after that we watched a movie called monster house cool.after a little bit of that we had some cake and we sang happy birthday to me we went back to watch the movie and and after the movie we read and read and then went to bed.'i think everyone was getting a bit silly because i think we had a little to many because everyone was being a bit silly.ha ha.in the morning we watched what now while my dad was cooking bacon and eggs.yum.we did a few games and with one game everyone won.ha.after we had done a couple of games ti was time for them to go.groan but i hope i can have a sleepover again one day!:-)

my favorite vivid vocab word is permanent it means that once it is there it stays there until it has been there for a very long time.
my favorite thing this week was doing some art our art that we did was African animal art i was very pleased with myself once i had done it.
the hardest thing this week was doing our spelling sheet i found it quite hard because i could not find some silent letters in a word because the letters were quite hard to find ina word but i managed it.a risk i took this week was the maths because sometimes i got a bit confused.

Today i learned that if you have a slim and pointy paper airplane one then it might travel better.
Another thing i have learned today would be that different paper planes fly a different distance.
And you also need to have both wings symmetrical so it will fly properly, i have learned how to use centimeters and millimeters with Mrs cowan.You need to mind the gap so it will be the correct answer if you do a test,never use the gap to measure.that's why you should give it a go flying your own dart.

down below we have been writing stuff about our incredible place the thing i really like about my piece of writing is that i am pretty happy with my beginning and i really hope that the rest of my story will be interesting.
i was working one day and i saw this envulope fly through the window i thought it must have been a mistake. i opened it and i saw that it was adressed to me.it said up in the sky the clouds are going chaos.mmmmmmmm i said to myself what could that mean. i ran up my hall down the stairs and ran out the door i relized that i was never going to be able to land up on one cloud so i pinched myself because i must have been dreaming.but iwasn’t unfortunately i was not dreaming.i ran back up the stairs down the halway and into my room i got out a peice of paper and i writed my suggesttions on my piece of paper

Yahhhh I did my speech the time was good and I got videoed I got chosen to do it in front of my syndicate but now all of our class speeches are done for our class i have some facts about my speech did you know that clownfish are all born males when that female dies the most dominant male turns female to replace the one that has died.and here is a joke you would probably think clownfish are comedians they really aren't. we have another exciting thing it is grandparents day and I am performing my jump jam in front of the school but on the same day as grand parents day friday the 30 of may mrs Farrell is leaving sad but on the same day it is her birthday and she is turning 28 I hope she has a girl although my mum thinks that boys are easer than girls I hope mrs Farrell has a nice time with her baby.

I've started doing some of mine but it has to be two minutes and 50 seconds.why do we have speech's it is more work but hat's alright i like speech's there are heaps of ideas but good luck every body.

In the holidays me and Samantha made Anzac biscuits we followed a recipe and they turned out delicous.

Stink is a very weird kid do you want to know why? ok if you say so, he never wants to wash himself and also when he is having his dinner he does't like what his mum cooks so what he does is he spills it down is shirt gross. but I can tell you what he smells like he smells like you know when you go to Rotorua it smells like rotten eggs and unfortunately that is what stink smells like.but also he always get's told off and this is how it goes ''stink come to detention now''

I enjoy.....three things at school my first thing is reading I love to do reading as part as my homework.even though it says to read 15 minutes i read for almost like an hour.other wise if the story is boring i just read for 15 minutes.my 2nd thing is spelling I am a great speller and i am in the top group but the main thing is that i enjoy it. my third thing is art this year we have been making pencil holders that are shaped as pencils this person has been teaching us how to make them after it is going to look Awesome.
